Cardboard Reels

TYPE – BEADED METAL CYLINDER ( BMCR )

This type of cardboard reel is made with solid or fluted cardboard flanges and has a tinplate cylinder barrel. Standard flange sizes range from 125mm to 400mm diameter. The tinplate cylinders are available in diameters of 50mm, 70mm, 76mm and 96mm, and in cylinder standard lengths of 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 150mm. Other types of cardboard are available such as white or yellow lined board and we carry a range of poly coated cardboard in plain or white. This reel can be supplied assembled or in kit form. Board callipers range from 2000 to 4000 micron. ( FLANGE PRINTING AVAILABLE)

METAL STAMPING REELS ( MSR )

This type of cardboard reel is made from solid board flanges in callipers from 3000 to 4000 micron and has barrel diameters of 100mm, 125mm, 150mm and 200mm. The barrel consists of 2, 3 or 4 metal stampings depending on barrel diameter required. The barrel of this reel also has a cardboard tube or paper strip to cover the barrel to protect the product going on to the reel. This reel can be supplied assembled or in kit form and flange diameters range from 250mm to 450mm as standard. The metal stampings that we produce have lengths from 100mm to 457mm. PLASTIC PLUG REELS

This reel consists of 2 cardboard flanges, 2 plastic plugs and 1 cardboard tube. This is for lightweight use and supplied mainly in kit form. Flange sizes range from 50mm to 200mm as standard. The plastic plugs are in diameters of 19mm or 25mm and supplied with cardboard tubes in any length. ( FLANGE PRINTING AVAILABLE )

LOUVRED METAL CUP REELS ( LMCR )

This reel consists of 2 cardboard flanges 2 metal cups and 1 cardboard tube. Flanges range from 150mm to 350mm diameter. The standard metal cup is 70mm diameter but

50mm, 76mm and 95mm diameter are available. Cardboard tube lengths are from 50mm up to 500mm. This type of reel is supplied in kit form but assembled is also available. This is a reel that is also used for lightweight products. ( FLANGE PRINTING AVAILABLE )

100% ALL CARDBOARD REELS

This is a PKR new innovation reel for lightweight products that can be wound on to this totally ALL CARDBOARD REEL. This reel is purpose built in design and is made to customer specification. The range of flange diameters can be from 150mm to 500mm and the cardboard barrel diameters from 50mm up to 250mm and widths up to 400mm. This is what we call our green reel. With the environment in mind we are continually looking to develop further products that meet environmental issues. ( FLANGE PRINTING AVAILABLE )
